Flex-Fuel Power System to solve & improve the combustion of ammonia and other alternative fuels
Improving the combustion of ammonia with the most compact, reliable & lowest cost fuel reformer system designed for integration with new & existing engines.
To deliver low-cost, simple, and reliable power with flexibility of hydrocarbon fuels.
Founded in 2023 out of the Colorado School of Mines, enriched by the Activate program, backed by leading hard-tech investors, and based in Denver, Colorado USA.
The first fuel reformer package that can be integrated with any internal combustion engine. We transformed the fuel reformer technology from a "refinery scale" product into a "water bottle" size device.
We modify the combustion properties of ammonia to match existing hydrocarbons, allowing front-end integration for improved combustion efficiency and emissions control.
To provide a low-risk, low-cost and simple fuel reforming solution that can be integrated with combustion products, facilitating the adoption of alternative fuels through proven energy assets.
10% lower fuel cost by enriching fuel stream with on-board generated hydrogen.
Return investment in <1 year
Front-end emissions control system for minimal ammonia slip, NOx, N₂O, diesel particulate or methane slip emissions.
Use existing engine with a bolt-on fuel reformer package to utilize in-place CapEx, maintenance and supply chain channels, switch to diesel if required.

Transforming the combustion properties of alternative fuels to match hydrocarbons. We accomplish this through fuel reforming, which is a chemical process of transforming ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen.
Fuel reforming is traditionally performed on a "refinery scale" and is not practical for small applications. Our innovative design and engineering approach allows us to do fuel reforming at the "water-bottle scale", enabling integration with internal combustion engines.
We have successfully demonstrated our technology with a prototype and are now moving towards a Minimum Viable Product. We’re looking to engage with stakeholders across maritime and heavy industries to explore technology applications and identify pilot testing opportunities.

We would love to learn more about your concerns with the utilization of alternative fuels such as ammonia, and explore how our product can overcome current and future adoption barriers.
